In the recent issue of Chantilly High School’s newspaper “The Purple Tide” they published a burger review of local restaurants in Northern Virgina. Personally I am a burger fanatic so I was interested in reading the reviews of fellow burger enthusiasts.

To say the least, they got it completely wrong. First of all in order for a burger to be a real “Burger” it must be made to order (personally I like mine medium rare). So the first thing that jumped out to me on this list was the inclusion of Five guys. They do make some good food for the price, but they do not make a true “Burger”.

Number 1, nothing tops a homemade burger, period. Number 2, Sweet Water Tavern cooks burgers that are so delicious they would satisfy Kings and Queens. Number 3, the bun of a burger either makes it or breaks it, and Fuddrucker’s engineers one of the best buns out there.
